Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent in the very first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd won her next bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used the superior abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She won the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina with the ground and pound strategy and earned an TKO 2nd round win. She continued her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle with the fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an majority decision.
